College Comparison Site-
- I highly recommend this site for anyone who is still searching for a college. Even President Obama likes it.
- If you haven't checked our your Guidance Counselor's web page, you should do that now! They have lots of great information for you to gather from.
- The guidance department complied a slide show for College Go Week!

Bureau of Labor and Statistics
This is linked to the k-12 site. It is easier to use and has games, videos, activities and more.
This is an excellent resource to find out a variety of information about careers you are considering to use.
Hoosiers by the Numbers
This is an excellent source of information when planning your career path. There is data about the number of jobs currently available in a certain field, as well as the predictions about the future growth of that occupation.
One of my favorite sections of this site is the tools section. Here you can find a "cost of living calculator" If you are considering moving to a different part of the country, check this out to see how different the numbers may be.
Hoosier Hot 50
This is a list of the top 50 jobs in Indiana. The Department of Workforce Development comprised this list based of of fast growth and high income. Oh this site you can also read testimonials from real people who hold positions in these fields.
Indiana Next
Another great website based focused on Indiana statistics. However, this is a wealth on information. The website is split into three main sections, College Tips, Career Tips, and Financial Tips.
Education Planner
This site has information for students and parents. You can research careers, college information, take assessments, and learn more about paying for school. Excellent resource!
Career tests
I am still researching this site. However, there seems to be some valuable tests/assessments to help guide your college and career choices.
